See, this is what some people have been telling OTHER people. The republican party has become virtually nothing more than than a big practitioner of smoke screen politics. You can SAY you're for less government and you can say you're for lower taxes, but you cannot just take these ass-bags at their word. LOOK at what they do, this is NOT a man that's for less government and lower taxes. He's ONLY for less government and lower taxes for himself and his cronies, NOT for you and me. Well, unless you're ONE of his cronies. If you are, you're not reading much of my stuff then anyway.

Talk about stacking the deck! It's a pretty clear signal that's being sent, when you are slanting a very "right thinking" board of regents on not one but more than a few university boards. You are clearly trying to influence university educational policy. After all, Perry's "right thinking" base certainly is no huge fan of science.

The ONLY issue I agree with him on is gambling, and that has been something his buddy Tom DeLay actively campaigned against, because of the lobbyist money in his pocket from the lobbyists from other states, to KEEP gambling out of Texas. As long as it's illegal here, people will keep going across the border to New Mexico, Oklahoma & Louisiana and taking their money with them. Again, nice going you corrupt pieces of shit.
